1. BIO

Today I specialize in creating original experiences involving film, sound art and guerilla performance tactics.

I have recently completed my first new opera film, “Cry of the Third Eye”, an experimental short film presented with my own live musical narration. (In collaboration with Ashley Hunt, and Studio Enertia Visual Director, Alisha B. Wormsley.)

I am composing the film score(s) for Wormsley’s “The Children of Nan”- a science fiction film series commisioned by the Andy Warhol Museum… part one is currently on exhibit there.

Other projects include “Slaves and Indians” an ongoing impromptu guerilla opera series, and The Transformation of Oshe - a photOpera, as seen at the August Wilson Center in 2011.

I perform with Jason Moran and Meshell N’degecello’s Fats Waller Dance Party and also as the lead singer of DJ Sun & Resolution.

I am producing my first solo album, “Queen of the Slo-Go Boogie” any day now..

I am a graduate of the Mannes School of Music and the Manhattan School of Music  and am on the voice Faculty at the Humphrey’s School of Musical Theatre.

I live in Houston for the most part, but I move around alot. Plus I love my family.
