    Join the CAMH and myself, (Lisa) as I discuss and demonstrate my creative process in creating my 5 year work in progress Lilith- a new opera film in 3 acts.  This presentation will be the fifth in the series, Revenue Sharing.

    Revenue Sharing is based on the 1960s “Teach-In” and is held in conjunction with Theaster Gates’ mixed media installation See, Sit, Sup, Sing: Holding Court featured in the exhibition Radical Presence: Black Performance in Contemporary Art. The thirty-minute lunch presentations begin at 12:15PM.

    on April 14, 2012, I will be performing and presenting “Cry of the Third Eye”- a new opera film, at the Kelly Strayhorne Theatre in Pittsburgh, PA.  Followed by a bunch of other tour dates to get this sucker screened!

    I will be performing at the MoMA NYC, Film and Performance Art Department on April 27-28, 2012, 2-6pm.  Co-producer of “Cry” and collaborator/friend Ashley Hunt has organized the event, which is a staged reading of the transcripts of the Combatant Status Review Tribunals (CSRTs) held at the U.S. military prison camp in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba between July 2004 and March 2005. I will be reading/enacting in this performance installation, and bringing IT.
